This is what the bible says on the matter (JW style, of course):
"put forth ... [thine] ... hand [and]... enter into [the] dark and slippery . . . unclean . . . flesh[y] . . . places, . . . purify [that] . . white ass . . . "

If you go by Psalms 11:5 -- It says "The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates."
So you can be involved in violence -- you just can't LOVE it.
