They 'served' our circuit back in the mid-90's. He was my Pioneer School instructor also.
I liked them - just wondered if anyone knows where they are now. Last I heard they were in the Virginia area, and he was 'subbing' as a DO part of the time.

How about Bart and Mildred Thompson? They would be very elderly now if they are still alive. I would think 80 or more. He was the CO for one of the congregations that I grew up in. They always stayed at our house when they visited our congregation. They were very nice and personable people. We always enjoyed their visits.

Yes, they do. Her mother was in Richmond. I recall Mike talking about going to the beach on occasion in Virginia. I think they both grew up there.
When they left here, they went to Raleigh-Durham. After that maybe to Savannah or close?
His last assignment [that I knew of] was in southeastern North Carolina I think - somewhere on the eastern seaboard at least - Janice told me that her mother was just two hours away and that she was able to get up and see her pretty often at the time. [Circa 2002?] Her mom had cancer I think.
