How many times can I do it? I mean, like if I could go as fast as I wanted anywhere, that would be a lot more practical than some one-off act of revenge, if maybe not quite as satisfying.

The reality is there are many perfect crimes commited day in and day out. Just look at the many crimes that get unsolved, let alone not reported.
