My brother and my mom are trying to find a song to dance to at his wedding. We've pulled up a lot of lists of common songs and none of them are really what they're looking for. I just came up with the song below as a suggestion, which I think is the best option so far, but I thought I'd see if any of our music connoisseurs could come up with some other suggestions. That one is perfect, but please use Skynard's version.
Everytime I play that song my son hugs me. I'm thinking of mother/son songs but I can't think of anything better than Simple Man.
I sent them both versions, but knowing my mom and my brother I think they will enjoy the Shinedown version more. Their choice, though.
The Boys II Men song is on the top of most lists of suggestions for the Groom/Mother dance, but my mom and my brother both don't like it.
Along the Watchtower is not really what I think they're going for.
