But as is typical, seems to have hooked up with another (get rich quick/God wants you to be rich) kind of cult. This is my uncle with mental problems. After 3 divorces, mentally ill children coming out of his ears, my mom thinks him hooking up with this 'new religion' means that my uncle is nuts-really nuts.
I think one of his get rich quick schemes finally got more of his devotion than the borg. He probably doesn't even REALIZE he has 'left' the borg. My mom has seen some religious component to the sales pitch and she has DF'd him all on her own(I asked if he was officially out or just stopped going-she doesn't know-just that he is going to this guys seminar and he is religious in some way-but so is Amway and most of the MLM schemes, so I am not sure of the distinction here.)

Always surprises me to find people on this site can think critically about the JWs but still believe in the Bible... out of the frying pan into the fire if you ask me.

Yah sure , get rich quick , just convince people they should give you their money. Convince them that unless they do God cannot bless them and help them with their needs ........ disgusting what those type of religions do .
