Looks like their worst nightmares will come true. Hopefully some will snap out of it.

I liked the comment that went something like, 'People in the world think they're happy. I wonder what it will be like when they find out they're not...' Say WHAT?

Now isnt that wild. A JW homepage, I guess you get banned if you say a word negative against WTS.

    Hi All,

What they don't realize is, they ARE without Jehovah. What has he done to demonstrate he is there just waiting to give them everlasting life and happiness. A spiritual paradise? Yea right.

He has given them an organization that uses them to distribute literature and tell them what to think and how to act, but never gets anything right, and is forever tacking back and forth. I wonder how they will feel when it finally dies, along with all their hopes and dreams?

this is the best comment in my view:

." Doesn't it seem like Jehovah is perhaps preparing us for the things yet to come before the end?!"

jw spend thier entire life trying to "READ THE TEA LEAVES" of the WT publications-- i recall when i was at bethel as soon as the wt would come off the press, even though you were not suppose to read it

YOU KNOW that "FOOD AT THE PROPER TIME" Thang--- you had to wait till it was put into your room before you could read it- but anyway we used to read it anyway right off the presses even though some Rickey Rightoues Bethelite would turn you in to the Pressroom or bindery overseeer we didn't care

we used to look for little Nuggets of NEW LIGHT as we used to say as Society Men:

"This is the first time the WT has commented on this matter "IN PRINT"

    OR

"Did you catch that Deep point"

it is so sad that the avg jw lives and dies on ever word gushing forth from the Boys in Writing

    how sad

Well, to me it comes across as empty rhetoric.

What does "without Jehovah" mean? Not being a Jehovah's Witness?

Why do I know so many happy atheists and so many unhappy Jehovah's Witnesses and churchgoers of other religions.

My life contains a random sampling of family, workmates, gay people, schoolmates, etc.

Using simple observation, I simply cannot distinguish a significant difference in behavior or attitude between believers and nonbelievers. Yes, there are happy Jehovahs Witnesses, but there are happy non Jehovahs Witnesses also. Their comments attempt to draw a distinct line between the two groups where no distinct line exists.

    Hear, Hear, Joel!

I wanted to e-mail Beverly to hug her and tell her that the world out there is BEAUTIFUL and that she shouldn't be afraid to interact with it. She has NOT already "seen the world without Jehovah" -- she has merely seen the world through the black-tinted Watch Tower sunglasses which make everything "worldly" seem murky and evil to the average JW. It is no more a realistic view than seeing the world through rose-colored glasses would be.

    Thanks, Expatbrit, for that link.

2 things occurred to me. The 1st was with a shudder (because I was very similar to them): they're living in a fairy tale. It's as tho saying, won't it be wonderful, Cinderella, when we go to the ball and live happily ever after? Poor people who won't go to the ball!

The 2nd was that I miss having some kind of mystical, magical excitement in life. Probably just temporary, since I left only 8 months ago. I haven't replaced it or gotten over it. It's exciting to learn about evolution, etc. But not magical, pie-in-the-sky stuff! Will be exploring many things tho!

    Have a great Tuesday!
