JWD has been a very improtant part of my life in the last two years. It was here that I learned of the UN/ngo scandal and from that moment, my eyes were opened. I have learned so much here and made some wonderful friends. Without this site, I would not have been able to heal my exJW wounds as well as I have. The closing of this site is very painful for me.
I want to state, for the record (again), that I did not disagree with Simon's stand on hijacking and porn; in fact, I supported him. I did disagree with the way he brought the issue to light and I mounted a protest NOT against him but against hate posts that were allowed to stand.
That being said, I noticed that "gregor" has made a post where he used the word "remorse" and another where he attemped to explain the post that upset me so much. I applaud him for this. He did the "right" thing.
I want to thank Simon and his family for having provided this site and for the healing that it brought to so many of us.I am very sorry for the ugly threats and other things you mentioned were inflicted upon you. Rest assured that I had no NOTHING to do with any of that.
I have PM'd some of you from this acct. giving you my contact info. I would love it if you PM'd me back with yours. I sincerly hope that this acct. will remain open so I can gather this info.
