  Nearly half of England’s drinking water could have fluoride added to it under a 'secret' Government plan. Although plans to add the chemical to more of the nation's water supply were announced in February, the scale of the Government's intentions has remained under wraps until now.

  Dental health chiefs want to add the chemical to 40 percent of England's water supply to combat high levels of tooth decay. Critics have said that the 'mass medication' of water without the population's consent is an invasion of their rights.

  Fluoride has been linked to diseases including brittle bones and cancer. At present, only 10 percent of England’s tap water has fluoride added.

  I thought fluridating the water made people into republicans/sheep.

  I always thought if it prevented tooth decay the dentist would want to outlaw it.

  If the dentist had any say they would be putting sugar in the water.

  Sounds like a plan to make the population more sheep like, and gulible then they already are.

  I'm not a democrat either, its just the republicans have acted more sheep-like and gulible for the last 8 years.

  When they put fluoride in USA's water, the appearance of cavities in kids plummeted. It was one of the most permanently successful public health policies ever. Interestingly, as the use of bottles water has increased in recent years (water with no fluoride), kids are getting more cavities.
  
  The English should use fluoride in their water--rotten teeth are just disgusting.
