I've read several threads stating that during the last DC, 'new light' was shed (not shet) on the subject of shunning, making it even worse than it was before...
If anybody has the specifics on this, I would like to know...

The new rule book "things we say you must do or else god will hate you" reiterated past hard-line articles on shunning even close family members. Is this what you mean, or was there more?

Min, I started the thread, then found the answers in a thread I had not read... as for what kinda thread is this, it was just a question about the supposedly new light about shunning family etc etc...
A couple a threads before this one, there is info stating basically that the shunning is getting even worse etc etc etc... I have a pdf file of a publication that just came out that has a whole appendix regarding the shunning of dfed people...
