Interesting... That corresponds with the Catholic Holy Thursday. This past spring, Memorial was on Holy Saturday -- the Easter Vigil. I got baptized Catholic on Holy Saturday -- and it was the same night as the JW memorial. For those that don't know, Holy Thursday is the Catholic commemoration of the Last Supper. It is an extremely solemn event. It is the last celebration of Mass until the Easter Vigil on Saturday night. Somehow the JW Memorial seems to be more of an insult to the Lord Jesus when it falls at the same time as a genuine commemoration... Ruth

You don't have to worry about me. I haven't been to a reject-the-Lord supper in 3 years. I had a relative who came to me wanting to know next years date.

says Nisan 14 corresponds to Wednesday 8 Sep 2008.
I don't think it's a matter of the evening/sundown issue.Last year the Society decided not to go with the Nisan 14
schedule because of the intercalation of the extra month
or Jewish Leap Year.Anyone know why???
--ILOOWYBTW the whole thing with the thread of skulls and blood drinking was gross! And I don't think it applies in any way to the last supper. So... that's my opinion. :-p
