Kings and Princes or Bride of Christ?

The Bible scriptures speak of an "elect"; a remnant, which will be the Bride of Christ.

Bride has a feminine concept. Now, everyone knows that according to scripture, a bride is submissive to her husband. Therefore, this Bride depends on Jesus for leadership. The bride "follows the Lamb wherever he goes."

The watchtower speaks of "an annointed" being kings and princes who will rule equally with Christ.

This is a totally different concept. Watchtower seems to make some implication here that Jesus follows mans political/religious arrangement when it refers to Jesus setting up his kingdom like the Order of Melchizedek.

    So what is it?

Bride of Christ or Order of Melchizedek?

    *** w54 4/1 p. 220 par. 14 The "Likeness of Melchizedek" ***

Christ has been invisibly present in his kingdom since A.D. 1914, and those who died faithful belonging to him as members of the royal priesthood have had this "earlier resurrection" since his coming to the temple in 1918.—Mal. 3:1-5; Rev. 11:15 to 12:5.

No it's not. You just have to dig deeper than what you see on the surface. Jesus spoke in parables to illustrate that to you.

I think a lot of things are given to us in a disguised manner because that was the only way they could survive through time without being censored.

Rev. 3 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

There is a big difference between being graciously invited and the attitude of expecting something is owed to you.

To serve with equal rule with Jesus, as though you have just as much authority, is very bullish. It also makes one "standing in Jesus's place."

Well first "remnant" is a word invented by the WT society to distinguish itself from those, anointed, who left the false prophet in 1918, when Christ DID NOT show up at the temple.

The union the anointed have with Christ is submissive and is typified by a wifes relationship to a husband, knowing that there are no sexes, only spirits in heaven elimenates gender.

Christ reigns in Order of Melchizedek, where as the anointed recieve titles of kings and princes and reign as vassel rules under Christ.

    LOL. I don't think so.

The union the anointed have with Christ is submissive and is typified by a wifes relationship to a husband, knowing that there are no sexes, only spirits in heaven elimenates gender.

So what is the criteria of this union?

Christ reigns in Order of Melchizedek, where as the anointed recieve titles of kings and princes and reign as vassel rules under Christ.

So are you saying that Jesus figured Melchizedek had a good idea and Jesus decided to pattern his Kingdom upon the ideas of a man?

Actually, the idea of the Priest-King goes back to the days of the Druids.

"The druids constituted the learned priestly class (disciplina), and as guardians of the unwritten ancient customary law they had the power of executing judgments, among which exclusion from society was the most dreaded."

Are you sure you know who Melchizedek really is?
