Do you or someone you know refuse medical attention because of your religion?

Do you believe in the power of prayer to heal? Are you or someone you know ill and refusing medication because of religious beliefs?

Have you recently been diagnosed with a terminal illness and planning to forgo treatment and pursue spiritual healing?

If you are refusing medical care because you believe in God's healing power, we want to hear your story!!

That could open the door for one of the JWS that is ill and is in need of medical treatment revolving around blood but I don't think a JWS

would go on national television to talk about it, possibly a relative of a JWS that has refused a transfusion and has died for doing so,

or a relative of someone that is refusing a transfusion right now.

It would make for a very interesting interview nevertheless

I can see the active JWs trying to get a sick one on the show. Millions of viewers, millions of witnessing opportunities.

This is why it it important that the ex-JW side writes Dr. Phil requesting to be on his show.

    Fair & balanced.

Thanks for posting this. For what it's worth, I filled out the Dr. Phil form with the following message: You will undoubtedly receive many experiences from those who, like myself, have been members of Jehovah's Witnesses. While their leadership currently penalizes members who accept blood transfusions, many of those members don't realize that Watchtower teachings (the primary teaching periodical of JW's) have been drastically modernized. When I and my parents joined in the 1950's, they had just shifted from a total rejection of medical treatment. With that thought in mind, you may find my recent forum posting (I am known as Fatfreek) interesting. Yes, I am the currently shunned (by JW children) father and grandfather. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/16/91612/1.ashx Leonard R. Miller
