The only charity for Jehovah's Witnesses is the Watchtower Bible & Trick Society. Just give them everything you can make while living and everything you own when you die and they will find the appropriate places for it.

One way around it is to say it merely for business purposes and networking. Sorry, can't elaborate, my jw regularly gives to charities and the whole cong knows about it but because it involves a very popular section of society he gets away with it because the elders & ms' must like to hear about the celebs he sees and hobknobs with.

Homerovah the Almighty
Not good, I don't remember anyone doing that
You shouldn't be setting up charities for a good cause when you should be out in field service or studying
or encouraging others to give to the WTS.
Another controlling aspect of the JWS.......doing charity work

The assisted living apt's seem to be restricted to JW's only- they can't have any non-JW's mixing with them it seems. My father spent his last six months of life in a Jewish Nursing home. They had church services available for all the Christian residents, too.

I have often thought about calling all the KH's in my metro area and ask the elders for permission to place barrels for the local food pantry by the KH front door. We all know what their response would be- NO! Then I would write a letter to the local newspaper to report what happened.
