    Dear Friends:

I have been thinking about putting together a website, which I think can be very informative to the internet using general public.

My plans are still in the formulative stage, so I don't wish to be too specific at this point. However, my plans totally rely on information provided by others. Therefore, I am testing my plans by now asking for the assistance of the 3000+ members at this discussion site.

For reasons which I will leave to your imaginations at this point in time, I would like to put together a state by state Directory of JW businesses.

For this website to move forward, I need each of you to email me with as much info as possible about each established JW business with which you are familiar.

    I need:

    Business name.
Owner(s) name and position in congregation.
    Whether individual, partnership, or corp.
    Mail address.
    Email address.
    Telephone.
    Fax.
    Type of business.
    Yellow Page Ad?
    Additional Comments.

Feel free to post here if you want others here to be aware of the business info, or email me privately.

After all, shouldn't the general public know who they are financially supporting?

I don't know of any JW businesses. However, I do have a question. What difference does it make what a person's religion is when I do business with somebody? Just because I want the Watchtower Society to go away, does not mean I want to ruin people's businesses.

I just wonder; what is the general idea making a website like that?

I would understand it if you made a website with businesses run by the Watchtower, but individual witnesses?

Personally I can't see the reason, and I don't see the use. A JW has a perfect right to run his business as a person, so why making a register of wondow-cleaning businesses?

Surely everyobody knows I'm not a fan of the Watchtower - but going for the individual witnesses is a total miss in my view.

I agree with Jay and Kent. There is no good reason for hurting these individuals.

I agree with your suspicions voiced above, my fellow comrades.

Pretty ballsy for a first-time post!
