I was at the circuit assembly today.
During the last talk the district overseer said the following:
Satan is trying to destroy God's people by any means necessary.
Remember the catastrophic massacre events in Rwanda and Burundi in 1994? That was Satan trying to get to Jehovah's Witnesses. He wants to get as many as he can.
So, according to this district overseer, every massacre is an attempt to get to whatever Witnesses are in the bunch.
Is he just a rogue DO or does the FDS actually say this?

In the Watchtower view of the world, everything that happens is somehow about them. If they were an individual, a psychological diagnosis of some sort would have to be in order.
The fds is the faithful and true crack dealer for 6 million jws. Jws are the addicts.

So, it all makes sense now. The world trade center buildings were taken down to get to the JW janitors that worked there. Or they were really trying to fly into the Watchtower bldg's and missed. Satan is really out to get them in fact everyone is out to get them. My diagnosis is paranoid shizophrania.

You have to admit that a world war is another brilliant strategy of Satan's. Kill soldiers, bomb military bases, you're bound to off a few conscientious objectors. And then bomb Japan because back then that was probably one of the countries with the least per capita population of jws.
Oh, and exploding a building a few miles away from wt headquarters? Brilliant again.

There were some Wts that attempted to relate the Rawanda situation with the concentration camps in Germany. And how Satan was using the Catholic Church to destroy gods people. I forget the issues, but I remember doing our family study and reading this and saying - I can't teach my children this. End of study. I think that was the last family study I attempted.
