According to this article, it seems that the clergy is now taking orders from the government.

A government plan to use members of the clergy to quell dissent and objections to government orders during a time of national emergency ....

.....primarily, "these clergy would already be known in the neighborhoods in which they're helping to diffuse that situation." .....

So government orders to abandon homes, turn over guns, leave livestock behind, or whatever would come to the minds of various officials during an "emergency," would be easier for people to accept, the report indicated.

The report said one of the biggest tools the clergy members would use would be the Bible itself, specifically Romans 13, where Tuberville said the Bible states "the government's established by the Lord, you know.

....that the training has been going on in secret for over a year already.

"The clergy are being advised to use Romans 13 to encourage parishioners to submit to the sudden and massive expansion of government control that takes place during martial law," the writer said.

Even though this was in the news just a year ago, it seems there have been some "things going on" that perhaps parishoners and the general public have not really been made aware of. It seems a timely issue now, as there is talk and rumor of "problems" that may arise.

Do you think WT has pledged allegiance? Do you think your information is safe with them? If you are Da or DF will you be reported as being "uncooperative"?

Why would someone take an article that had to do with helping people evacuate out of hurricane prone areas during an emergency and attach this nonsense to it? Do,do,do,do...do,do,do,do

    This is nothing new.

People are becoming much more attuned to the smell of shit, I must admit.

I would not trust the Washtowel Slaveholdery with the purchase number on a receipt made for a pen in 1973, let alone with personal data that is up to date.

If the intent was to safely evacuate people from dangerous areas with as few problems as possible then this could be looked at as a positive idea. The only question I have is why are my paranoid antenas tingling? By the way, my pastor wasn't invited to this training.

If it was all above board, then why would they need to be doing things in secret?

So the church would in fact be a government enforcement agency now.

When the word emergency is put in quotes the underlying meaning is that this is a tongue-in-cheek excuse to execute government orders

cameo-d If you were in charge of evacuating 1,000,000 people that were in the path of a Cat 5 hurricane....would you consider such things as .....warning people to abandon their home if it were in the path of the hurricane and meant certain death....and those that did evacuate, would you encourage them to bring their firearms and animals ????

I don't know why you seem to insist that my post relates to a past event. It does not. This has nothing to do with a hurricane.

Your response indicates that you did not even comprehend what I said in the above post. Clergy never went through secret training for hurricane Katrina.

The events in the above article have a possible connection to the church leaders becoming an active force in working with the government... which seems illegal to me.

I cannot help but think since we are facing a time of unrest, that the church"s role in society is changing from that of sanctuary to active government alliance.

Perhaps you are not aware that an army infantry is being deployed in the US on Oct. 1.
