Here I am sitting with wet hair and no makeup on trying to get motivated for work. Why can't the weekends be longer? I hate Monday's.
Please, somebody! Anybody! Please help me get off my arse and go to work.

Oh well, have a cup, throw some cold water on your face, and dance on your computer. If you're feeling really good by then, destroy some company property......

Tweetie, remember the Carpenters' song "Rainy Days and Mondays Always get me down"? Well, that's what it should be here in California today :-)
Bitter Mango, insomnia is the worst! My sympathies. I had it for the last decade off and on. For the past year, I've been caffeine-free, not much protein at dinner, and 1/2 mg of Ativan every night and have not had the insomnia. OH! And also HAVE to sleep with a fan going to keep the hot flashes at bay!
'The cure for insomnia is to get plenty of sleep." Don't hit me!!

Oh, another thing! Here's something that will help and give us an unusual word for the day:
"Pandiculation"
That means to stretch and yawn at the same time. The stretching helps you wake up. Ever notice in the evening you don't stretch when you yawn? So, everyone do their morning pandiculations.
(I know, I'm a bit odd--and I'm a morning person. It annoys quite a few folks at work!)
Cheers!
Pat
Your post took the words right out of my mouth when i woke up this morning.
