The new tract promises to tell you how to find true happiness. Does anyone ever suffer from false happiness? How does that oxymoron work?

Ask your self: How do Witnesses commonly 'get thru the day' and survive the depression inducing events of this world? Prayer? I DON'T THINK SO!

The answer - and nearly an epidemic in Witness congregations - is Prozac, Effexor, Paxil, Wellbutrin, Valium, Buspar, Lithium, Xanax, and countless other psychoactive drugs.

The very person handing you this scrap of paper may be dependent on one or more of these drugs just to go door to door!

The new tract is a delusional fraud

Well, in the interests of debate, there is "false happiness" in the sense that people are capable of deluding themselves into thinking that they're happy, when deep down inside, they're not.

UNFORTUNATELY for the dubbies who have to peddle these rags, they are suffering from perhaps the most acute case of "false happiness" found in the modern world.

It's the old "We are Jehovah's people, therefore we are happy. If we are not happy, we cannot be Jehovah's People! Therefore we are happy. We are Jehovah's People, therefore..."

You left out Jack Daniels, Jose Cuervo, Bacardi, Smirnoff....

The first thought that comes to mind is, the JWs themselves. The literature expounds on how they are the "happiest people on earth", and live in a "spiritual paradise". The only way to remain in such a state of "happiness" is to completely turn off your brain, or medicate as noted above.

No wonder I call them wastes of paper. It does not make me happy to waste all day placing those stupid things. Anyone with a brain should be able to do better--and I hope people read them and realize that it is not the truth (at that, people that are supposed to be placing them. I hope householders either do not get their wastes of paper or end up throwing them in the garbage).

    what else is new ;)

I think it's amazing that the JWs think the message of 'finding truth' is still relevant. People in our society want community and are less interested in 'accurate knowledge'. Just look at the churches that flourish and those that are shrinking, it's quite obvious.
