I don't know which one you mean but here's a video you've probably seen of a house nearby a couple of years ago.

The police had to make them stop the light display because there were so many auto accidents, from people looking at the lights! It was in nearby West Chester, OH. Kinda funny.

Im thinking he wont be doing that again because of the economy :) There is a man at the end of our street who, starting Nov 1, every year covers every surface of his house with strings of lights and his entire front yard with lighted moving figures. I mean EVERY square inch of the place. You could probably see it from the space station!

My energy bill went up $100 last month because I turned the air conditioner on upstairs in our new addition for the first time...I cant imagine what that kind of lightage for three months cost that guy. :)

I know how you can get up to a 90% discount on your electricity usage from doing this. If you use LED bulbs instead of regular ones, you save about 90% of the energy needed to run them. As a bonus, they run cooler (less fire hazard), take less current (hence fewer blown fuses), and the bulbs run much longer than standard. That way, the sets will need less frequent replacement. The catch is that they are more expensive (about $10 per set of 50) up front.

That guy must be a theatrical lighting or sound designer! Or at least a frustrated roadie.

Thanks for the video link! Ugly decorations, but very cool to watch.
