Has anyone thought about going on the Dr. Phil show or something similiar

  to tell there story? Did you right a letter or send an email? Did you get a response? Just wondering...

  Dr. Phil had two shows that I applied to be on...about 3 months ago. The first was to be about foregoing medical procedures and religion. The second was to be on cults. I sent them alot of information, but they realized my brilliance.

  He did do some good shows on cults/fundamental sects that were very interesting and informative. Whilst more extreme than the JWs the logic they used was almost identical. Black and white resasoning, us vs them, anyone not in is part of satan's world, etc

  Its coz of Dr Phil that my hubby and then i got out (see gladring's story) so I'd love to go on the show and thank him for all the changes that came about in my life because of his book. It would also be great to see the dubs exposed on a show that has such a large audience.

  Maybe if enough of you in US wrote letters then they'd do a show...?

  I read his book "Self Matters" and saw a show he did about a cult in Colorado . Those things really gave me the boost I needed to leave the Witnesses .
  
  I did write a long letter to him and was very nervous about it ....I forgot the postage !!! and it was returned to me ... I took it as a sign that maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all >Haahaha

  That would be so awesome if you got on! This cult needs to be seen for what it truly is. I bet that would wake a lot of JWs up and prevent a lot of people from joining!
