It is that time of the year when the GB/WBTS solicits funds.The GB/WBTS say to the public we have no collections ever.We offer a free Bible study.We offer w/o obligation a copy of the book.We offer a free home Bible study.However.are the GB/WBTS being honest,creditable;free from deceit.See the public WT of Nov.1/08,Dec1/08 and compare to the WT of Nov15/08 which is only for J.W.
In the public issues there is no mention of donations/money etc.However in the J.W. issue we have the following.Contributions can be made directly to "Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of-----------c/o-------.Checks--(notice spelling) payable to "Watchtower" What kind of religion is Watchower)
Jewelry or other valuables,Donations-money,Gift Annuity,Insurance,Retirement plans/funds/pensions plan,Stocks & Bonds,Real Estates,Wills & Trusts.Note they also name the "Watchtower" as a beneficiary of any Wills/Insurance/Real Estate.Well folks that just about covers the whole nine yards and maybe the asshole.Yet this same Organization criticizes how other TRUE RELIGIONS solicits or appeals for funds for their operations.
What I would like to see done:Is a copy of the Nov.15/08 sent to all R.C. Bishops and the Vatican in Rome.This would point out that all money collected by the GB/WBTS goes to some kind of an organization called "Watchotwer" and people are getting hosed by this scheme.
