So I am walking into the KH last night ( late on purpose ) and these people come up behind me running to get into the hall. They do this all of the time. Do you find it weird that people are running to get in so that they are not missing any spiritual nuggets LOLOLOL
Having been late several bazillion times because my husband doesnt know how to use a clock...I hurried in a lot to be seated hopefully before they sat down after the opening song so nobody would notice LOL!

I think that the running can be indicative of many things. For some people it creates an unconscious (or conscious) sign that they are busy. Some get off on the thrill and exhillaration of last-minute timing/arrivals. Some like the attention. Some (as prior posted noted) do it to try to avoid attention by staying off radar.
The running can indicate: "I know I'm late but doing my best. Don't hassle me. I hassle myself enough already."
