are any child labour laws broken when minors (especially those 14 and under) are sent out to sell (distribute, whatever) WTS magazines?
has anyone come across any such info?

They are all volunteers. I'm guessing the labor laws do not apply.
They just call them volunteers, even though I cannot see how the fxxx a 2 year old can volitionally choose to get out of peddling littera-trash and wastes of paper when the parents are forcing them out, and the hounders are hounding the parents to "voluntarily" force these 2 year olds out in field circus.
It is the parents fault, but yes it is very close to breaking the law, I remeber when I was young my dad made me go and scrap food trays I hated it, they would not ever give me a carton of milk for payment, those tight wads.
If a parent choses to allow his child to accompany him while he visits neighbours to "share good news" , what child labour law could apply?
"Dad, sweatshop children get better treatment and get paid better than I do."
