internet phone??

    has anyone tried using the pc to call someone else? is this free stuff? i tried dialpad but it doesnt offer free trials nymore..anyone has ideas? thanks

    Someone called me once via internet, to my tele...it was okay, We were cut off a few times, and sound quality wasn't the best. Now if ya wanna hear voices, and not the ones with no explainable cause. Get on Yahoo, and voice chat. I have chatted with a few from the board, and it is great to put a voice with the written words.

    mommy! i need to call those 1800 toll free numbers(not free here) to check for reservations...i was thinking if i could make them over my pc to save on the long distance fees...

    I use NetMeeting / MSN Messenger quite a bit to do voice and video chat. Works all the way to Canada and is a lot cheaper than a phone!

    It also helps me keep in touch with my little Brother who's at Uni and all the babes I've met over the years.

    (actually, I made that last bit up to see if you were paying attention).

    Maybe we should arrange a link up - it would be nice really hear / see some of you !

    I use headphones to talk via MSN...have spoke to a number on the board at no extra cost!

    Is this the wrong time to bring up the fact that you run a JW discussion board and chatroom, and that voicechat could be an option as well?
