"Profess to be anointed"

Have you ever noticed that whenever you are talking with a dub about another dub that partakes during the memorial, they always say..."Well, they profess to be of the anointed"

It's almost as if they don't want anyone to be anointed. If they believe in the anointed class, then why don't they 100% acknowledge everyone that says that they are anointed. Now I realize that there are some wack jobs out there that say that they are and you can safely assume that they are not. But I have found more often than not, that the reg dubs alomst give the impression that they don't want that person to be "anointed" as though it puts the reg dubs down as just regular people.

Anyone else know what I am saying, or see what I see?

I was one of the those people that said folks "professed" only because there is not anyway for anyone to know for sure.

It's funny, growing up as a dub, I always felt that the anointed were a little bit more holy than the rest. I figured that they had to be since they would eventually live with god. Now when people say that phase, that another person "professes to be anointed" I can't help but think that they are jealous of them for some reason.

It's just another one of those terms to give the JW's a BUZZ when they say it or hear it.

This is called envy. Its what happens in a two class system. Btw is not supported by scripture.
