He's not an idiot savant for sure. He obviously has a photographic memory. I have the opposite of a photographic memory called a visual memory deficit. How lucky this guy is. They say Sarah Palin has a photographic memory. And I think she's a bit of a savant as well.

When you listen to this young man speak, you realize that he is high functioning on the autism spectrum. Definitely well above the idiot level.

They make a big deal about him never seeing an aerial view, and having the correct number of columns and windows. Conspicuously absent is any mention of whether he had photographic views of the subject, or if he had internet access while he was drawing. I'm highly skeptical. One could be holding a picture in one's hand of a subject but not have ever been in an aerial view.

That's unbelievable. It's amazing what the brian is able to do.
I could of used a brain like that a week ago when trying to find
my car in wal-mart parking lot.
