Just wondering...

Have any of you thought about this, taking out a full page add in a big city newspaper that reads:

If any persons are thinking of doing a study with the Jehovah Whitnesses, it would be wise to first do a google internet search on the their history.

I know a full page add would be costly, but there are enough exjw's to chip in. Think about all the people that could be reached by doing this in cities like New York, Chicago, Houston ect.... I'm not sure if one could get into legal trouble or not but, its not putting them down, its just sugesting search them out first.

It could be made a bit more general to include the names of several of the damaging cults in that area. Jw's are not the only dangerous bunch around - anyone thinking of joining a fringe religion could benefit from a warning. Still I imagine that a full page ad might not work. For instance, those ready to be taken in by these groups are usually far from studious readers of the Times - more of them are depressed and lonely than anything else - could there be a good way to reach the likely candidates? Just a thought!

I don't always read every thing in the news paper but I do scan all the pages for interesting articles, also, I'm always drawn to full page adds. I agree with all dangerous religions, but my family is in the Watchtower and they are the one's knocking on our doors. Maybe ex members from other dangerous religions would get the same idea if they saw the add on the JW's. Anyway, I just wondered, always looking for a way to open the minds. Also, I know a lot of educated people that are JW's, that do read the paper.

It would be cool to advertise V's website everywhere in the USA!
