I have a wireless router and was wondering if one could visit another area and was wondering if one could take the router with them and use the dsl connection at another place? Sorry for the unknowledge but just don't know and want to find out.

Hey buff, Just guessing but I don't see why not if whoever/wherever you are going doesn't mind, and I'm wondering if you will need to be in a "hot spot" where there is wireless coverage?
Since I don't know for sure, to be safe, here's a pretty great forum for Q's re: every electronic or wireless gadget under the sun...
