The Guardian newspaper (published in London UK) reports (Mon 15th Dec page 23) that a class action is being attempted against the Vatican (in the 6th US circuit court)
because "its officials were involved in a deliberate effort to cover up evidence of sexual abuse ..."
"case centres on a 1962 directive from the Vatican telling church officials to hide sex abuse complaints against clergy"
I wonder if this or very similar action was not undertaken by the WTBS in early letters to Bodies of Elders in how to deal with child abuse.Would not anything short of an explicit instruction to go STRAIGHT to the authorities be tantamount to a cover up attempt?
In the Letters to BOE's that I have downloaded the pertinent one is missing.
