I have no intention of starting a long rambling evolution debate thread.

Here is a link for a great video of an interview with Father George Cloyne (Catholic priest and physicist) by Richard Dawkins. The video was shot for a recent TV program about Darwin on Channel 4 in the UK. It is great to see the respect each scientist has for each other and to hear how much they agree upon. They discuss evolution, intelligent design and God.

This isn't atheist propaganda. I would strongly recommend this interview to anyone interested in evolution/creation etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it, a fascinating discussion. I will say no more, just wanted to share.

Wow! Can't wait to see it (youtube is blocked where I am now), but this surprises me. I'm about a chapter and a half into Richard Dawkin's book "The God Delusion" and I can't imagine him showing any clergyman much respect.

If it is a civil discussion with mutual respect, it sounds like Richard Dawkins is holding back for a TV audience.

Jag - you don't really have to listen to Dawkins, he's just asking questions for the most part. The interview never made it into the show but they are posting the uncut interviews on his website.

Who is Ken Ham

Ken ham is the guy, a Christian, creationist who it seems Richard Dawkins copied and changed 5% of the Words to support atheism instead of creationism.

What I'm trying to say is there's two sides to the coin and you only have to change 5% of the words to change the book.

I read Some Ken Ham about 10 years ago and I read Richard Dawkins last year and the arguments seemed the same except for 5% of the words.

I believe in Aliens. Or I suspect alien intervention and seeding and control.

To each his own, none of us are going to get a prize for what we believe along these lines.
