Anybody studied propaganda?
Ive got a very interesting book here called "propaganda" by Jacques Ellul. French master of propaganda analysis.
on page 56 he speaks of a presentation technique called "innuendo"
he says:"The mechanism of suggestion works best.Facts are treated in such a way that they draw their listener into an irresistible current.
The public is left to draw its own obvious conclusions from a cleverly presented truth and the great majority comes to the same conclusion".
They just say "2 plus 2 equals", and you say "4".
Later they can claim they never said "4' themselves, YOU said it.
Hows this on page 58:
"The propagandist must insist on the purity of his own intentions
and at the same time hurl accusations at his enemies. The propagandist will not accuse his enemies of just any misdeed, he will accuse them of the very intention he himself has and of trying to commit the very act he himself is about to commit".
Sheesh!
Anybody read the May 15th, or June 15th, 1922 Watchtowers recently?
Therin Rutherford Lambasts "record falsifiers" and deceptive
"archeologists" describing IN DETAIL the methods these decievers employ to mislead the public.
Burn Rutherford..BURN.
Hows this..portrait of a propagandee, the brainwashed, pages 166 thru 168, snippets:
""propaganda has created in him a system of certainties which may not be subjected to criticism...rigid responses...strict opposites, black and white...extraordinary compulsion to self justify...the projection of hostile motives to the outside world...ready made thoughts and stereotypes....his imagination can only extend to small variations within the fixed line".
I could go on and on, but its interesting to note that this guy is writing about French political propaganda. Not the Jehovahs.
