I went out this morning to pick up a few items for tonight's New Years eve, and once it started snowing, I think everybody in town went out for last minute shopping. It was getting very slippery, and traffic was everywhere.

I got home as soon as I could, and brother, I'm staying put! I will not go out until the snow stops, and I hear snow plows. Then, I just might go pick up the wifey, who is babysitting her nieces kids and bring her home. (I dropped her off this morning).

There's no way I'll let her drive in this stuff, with all the maniacs on the road today, trying to get their supplies for tonight's festivities.

So, stay home everyone, it's much safer. Oh, and you can be the best driver in the world, and some idiot can still plow into you.

Yet another New England snowstorm (we're just getting light snow in Eastern PA).

Obviously, all those sports championships have brought the wrath of God upon you.

Yikes. Guess I should stop complaining because it is 39 degrees outside right now.

    Be safe this NYE.

Yeah, was a mess this morning. Still had to go to work. I'm taking the next four days off. Not going out tonight. Lori and I partied hardy on the Solstice wtih a hundred or so of the locals at a grand party, complete with Xmas songs around the piano.

Tonight it's staying in, staying warm, cracking a few bottles and watching movies while cuddled under the quilt.

    Happy New Year, Hubert!

And a "Happy New Year" to you and Lori, also.

The wifey is back home. Her niece took her home in her 4-wheel drive. Snow is letting up now, but windy and drifting. About 8 inches out there.

We are staying home this evening, also. Got all my snacks and drinks ready.

I know.......grrrrroooooooaaaaannnnnnnn..........this a.m. there was a snow emergency, so no one was supposed to use the roads. There was a lull but we're supposed to get hit again. Meanwhile the roads aren't cleaned up yet.

Went up to pick up some food for the next few days in case we're snowed in. Said to mr. rebel8, "The problem with New Year's Eve is it's always in January."
