I remember one time I was having a discussion with a JW who kept lying and twisting things to support his believe and I finally told him he deserved to be a Jehovah's Witness. His reply kind of shocked me. He said "you really didn't mean that did you?" Mary's discussion with a JW on Youtube brought back this memory. It may seem mean but I feel some people deserve the Watchtower.
Do some people deserve to be Jehovah's Witnesses?

Yes, actually I agree with you very much. I don't really know anybody recently(but I don't know any JWs now except for some extended family that I see occasionally). But people that I knew in my past, yes, they deserved to be JWs. They loved the legalism and the rules and the structure and the schedule that is all set up for them. It gave them great purpose and made them feel important and superior. They were pitiful.

I agree with scarred for life. Some people wouldn't know how to live without the direction the JW's live with. They have to have all the answers, a strict schedule and rules, rules, rules or they just can't function.
My two brothers are a prefect example, it keeps them in line.

I personally think we all go to what we wanted in this life and to think the JW experience is negative to everyone is simple ignorance. To some, it was the right thing at the right time. It is not my cup of tea, to others it is a perfect taste amd not a cup of throw up.

I agree with you. I have some relatives that it was the right thing at the right time. I understand why many of them came into this cult and in many ways it has worked out well for them and has given them a place to belong and feel accepted. I feel sorry for them but as long as they don't try to push it on me I'm fine with it.

The ones that deserve the witlesses are the ones that act like the leaders: always seeking to control others.
