    Interesting how some of the "family values" red states have the highest divorce rates. And there's states like Massachusettes that has one of the lowest and, at least at one time, had legalized gay marriage. So much for it ruining marriage...

    Yes, but the high rate may have nothing to do with family values. I would postulate it's more closely related to economic levels. Arkansas is a poor state. Now, could it be poor because of a stubborn resitance to state lotteries, unions, gambling, and common sense? I don't know, other than to say it's a complex and dynamic issue.
