Did Charles Russell Calculate 606 or 607 from the Pyrimads? What book or books is this in?

Not sure, but I seem to recall that it was William Miller who calculated 606 BC, and Russell "borrowed" it.

If I'm not mistaken, Russell said that the interior measurements of the Pyramid confirmed 1914 as a special date.

    Take a look at this:

It was 606. They only realised some time later (1940s?) that there was no zero year between BC and AD and changed it to 607 in order to keep the 1914 end point.

I'm not sure if I'm parsing your question properly, so: if you are asking if Russel used Pyramidology to arrive at either 606/607 BCE, then YES.

Pyramidology was a main column of beleif for the early bible students (although they did not use the word Pyramidology).

The conecept that dimensions of the interior ascending passage in the Great Pyramid at Gizeh indicated a historical and future timeline was a HUGE part of the "Studies in the Scriptures" series. IIRC, one of the books was devoted almost entirely to that idea, and even had a multi-page fold-out with artwork of the pyramid against a timeline.

The concept of the Pyramid being "God's Stone Witness" was:

    • "borrowed" from other nuts contemporaneous with Russel
    • a central part of bible student's belief at that time
    • confirmed in the pages of the Watchtower as late as 1925
    • totally repudiated (attributed to devilish teaching) in Watchtower in 1928
    • mentioned casually and glibly in the pages of the Proclaimers book, with the implication that it was just an odd belief of Russel personally, but not a part of doctrine

It is too bad someone doesn't collect all these old wacky WTS quotes together someplace. Oh wait.... nevermind.

I'm not sure Russell came up with anything original at all . . . ever. It looks to me like he was more of a salad maker than an inventor.

I am trying to figure out if the Pyrimads was how he came up with the date or if it just confirmed the date of 1914.

And also where can I go to confirm it.

The Bible Students have put on line Russell's books "Studies in the Scriptures", The one entitled "Thy Kingdom Come " has some explanation. Page 309 onwards deals with the subject ..You may have to scroll on a fair way...

    What is "Pyrimads"?
This means it as the "pyramids"?

Russell used only Great Pyramid of Gizeh for calculation.
Therefore, it is not the plural (pyramids).

And the pyramid is not the main bases of that chronology.
It is clear if you see "Studies in the Scriptures, Series II."

But Russell used the pyramid for chronology clearly.

I think that almost all today's persons do not accept that view.
Jehovah's Witnesses themselves refused the founder's view.

Russell believed the date was 606. There was some wrangling during the early 1900's when they realized the zero year issue and at first, correctly (tongue in cheek) changed the end year to 1915, since if you are using the bible's chronology to caluculate the time, the start date should not be affected by the zero year ommision, only the end year. Later they realized that it would be easier to use 1914 rather than 1915 as the end date due to the World War I issue, so they decided to "start" with 1914 and work backwards 2520 years and ended up with 607 B.C.E.

I really like the lame explanation given in the Revelation/Grand Climax book. It tries to paint the picture that when they realized (through research) that the start date was 607 instead of 606, coincidentally at the same time they realized the zero year issue and (whew) the prophecy still ended in 1914.

    Such a comedy of errors.
