I just signed a contract which will require me to spend almost a full month in and around the Salt Lake City area next February.
Looking for any suggestions for things to do and or see plus want to see if anyone is interested in getting together.

You are so lucky!! Our family went on a skii trip to Salt Lake City 2 February's ago. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Salt Lake and went skiiing at Deer Valley, which is in Park City. There is also a tube hill on the way to Park City that looked like fun. It was closed the day that we tried to go.
I hope that you have a good time and enjoy yourself. Just watch out for all those Mormons!!! ;)

Most definitely -- go to the Mormon tabernacle!! It'll help you regain your "spirituality".
Actually, there were 2 things I enjoyed about Utah: (1) gazing at the mountains, and (2) leaving there!
Maybe you can go see a Jazz game.
