how do you put a video on this site? one from youtube?im computer stupid

In another window pull up the youtube video. Click the youtube address in your browser. Then, under "Edit" scroll down to "copy" and click "copy".
Come back to your post and click on edit. Then scroll to "paste" and click.
It should deposit the address and video on your post.

all that did was put the address up, not the video.

Actually, if you post an active link to a YouTube vid, the video usually automatically embeds itself.
