May the force be with him. I have been watching his videos for some time, even when he was a strong supporter/apologist for the Witnesses. He has finally been forced to see the light and then had the bravery to leave his family.

Having lost my JW family too, I know exactly how much it costs to leave the WT. But as much as I miss my family, I would never go back. Leaving the mind control cult of the WT is still the best thing I ever did. For all the pain he is suffering, it looks like he feels the same.

It does cost a lot to leave the dubs. The WTS makes certain of that. Their "loving" expulsion and shunning doctrines make prisoners of who-knows-how-many dubs who are too afraid to leave even after they realize it's a pile of crap. And that kid looks so young, too.
Very painful. This cult can really screw up your life. The good thing is that he is young enough to truly start all over again.
Yes, it is very painful. And some pain may stay with him the rest of his life. But , yes, he can start all over again and have a great life separate from all his JW past.
My heart goes out to him. But he is doing the right thing. Good for him for being so strong!
prayers be with him........ cause most all of us do realize how hard it is to leave family who are still in the cult. when your eyes are opened tho you really have no choice, you can lie and pretend to take part in their false religion (cult) or you can be who god wants you to be.
its funny tho.... they will judge you as evil and apostate for not beliving in their bull anymore............... and your the same person living the same life. to me apostate means you have left something that is TRUE for something that is FALSE............. in this case we have left something that its False in our search for something TRUE.
When you leave you have to completely forget about their judgments and labels that they put on you. That is giving them power. The only judgments that matter are your own. The only labels for yourself are the ones that you give yourself. Evil is whatever evil means to you not to the JWs. An apostate is not a word that I even use in my vocabulary. It means nothing to me.
The second one is painful to watch, we all know the associated pain far too well. We are here in support of you, New Age Gamer. I promise you... it does get better and easier... and I hope you see this thread.
