I READ THIS BOOK IN THE 70'S and it just came back to me as I have been reading posts on this site. It was called "This Perfect Day"by Ira Levin and the people in the perfect world believe everything they are told just like a JW and some are underground rebels..It is an interesting story sort of a 1984 type story but with a better ending and I am going to find the book and read it again.
