After hearing about Big Love, I thought it would be great to see something about JW's on HBO. It would definitely be interesting to see someone rise above the R/F, achieve a high position in Bethel, and then realize that it was all a fraud. Then they could show what kind of effects this can have on a person. Basically, the Ray Franz story.

I think it would be very boring. Not much excitement in the JW world that I can remember.

Something like:
WORKING TOWARD PERFECTIONWAITING FOR ARMAGEDDON
THE TRUTH (my favorite)
Anyway, it would not be all focused on one subject. It would be situations that occur around
a group of JW's in one congregation. But really, the most popular characters would rise to the
top and become the stars, with episodes following them. They could have situations in field service, from the bumbling organizer to the group covering
the wrong streets to the householder screaming obvious logic at them that cannot be disputed yet
they don't get it.The Memorial episode ("A very special THE TRUTH.") could have one member agonizing over whether
to partake while another agonizes over how to get his DF'ed relative to come to the meeting. They would have several cuts to the ladies washroom during the meeting and what really gets discussed.

They could show how many of the JW's live a double live. For instance, in the show Big Love the daughter Sarah is having a conflict with the familys polymigst lifestyle. She has been sexually and the family rescently found out. The same thing In JW World. Ther is sex amoung the unmarried youth, excess drinking amoung the body of eldresd and wives. I have seen both of these things occur in every haa I have attended. Heck there was wife swaping in one back in Connecticut.
