Is the Org Making Way for Obama's Youth Brigade

    Let's join the dots.

    As reported here, it seems the compulsory service for all youths receiving school loans and others to serve at least three months as part of the 'brigade'. For those who would wish to avoid such service by stating that they do religious activities instead, the bill includes this paragraph;

    Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.

    So, the Witnesses wouldn't be able to avoid participating in this 'brigade' by saying their a pioneer or Bethelite.

    Couple this with the recent WT Study article which blurs the lines between door-to-door, traditional JW-ministry activity and helping other people out.

    Is the WTS getting ready to put forward a softer front with regards to getting 'involved' in 'community-based' works as sponsored by the Government?

    Saved by the bell, because that is all falling apart anyway. Plus the fact that several years ago the Un outlined a plan which included "no prostelyzing in the public square" as one of it's missions to be accomplished.

    Of course they are moving in that direction. That's why the lines are being blurred, diffused, softened to make the transition!

    Yes, but when they tell it, the WT will make it sound like it was their very own idea and not the government. It will be billed as a new direction from Jehover.

    What a perfect time to fall into place! The WT will have even less expenses of publishing, Bethelites will not be needed, less responsibilities and expenditures for the WT. And new light to keep people from falling away. Now the R and F will be "angels of mercy" in their communities. But be assured, they will still have an indirect mission of prostelytizing. "Jehoover sent me" and the poor victims, although not having a mag thrown in their face or feeling obligated to contribute a dollar to the publishing company, will have to listen to "Jehober this and Jehober that" the entire time the JW volunteer is there!

    I don't understand how the WT would be involved when they actively discourage their followers from getting a higher education. Am I missing something?

    Great opportunity to clamp down even more. That way, people will go to jail for the faith, and they will be able to hail that as another sign that they have the "truth(??)". More persecution for the witlesses means more credibility of their having this sign.

    And more opportunity for the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger to make things even tougher for the witlesses that are still in. The youth, whom they hate so much, will suffer while the Washtowel Slaveholdery itself continues getting more money and power.
