There are a couple of christians at work and they chat amongst themselves about the times we are living in and the church meetings they have. The recent conversation is surrounding the power of satan. That he will set his will against you if you try and read the bible. He even makes you forget what you've read. oooh yes because he doesn't want you to read it.

Satan will cause problems at your work, in your marriage, in your family life, in your finance.

You've got to really get down and pray and show god how much you want it before god will help you. jeez - they sure accord the debbil so much power - their god doesn't seem to be able to stand against him.

ja - they seem to be in their own lil cocoon too - it's not just the J-dubs

Fear is a powerful motivator - and not just in religion - just ask any Republican.

I know firsthand. I'm demon-possessed. (Or so I've been told.)

I make it rain 30% of the time, sometimes when it's inconvenient, and sometimes when it's convenient, just to keep you guessing.

I also make it snow in winter and hot in summer.

Yes, I make you forget some things, but I also let you remember some things, just to keep you guessing about my next move.

Sometimes I make good people sick, but sometimes the people I make sick are bad.

On occasion, I've been known to make you spill coffee on your nice white shirt too. I'm very bad. Be very afraid.

Do you have to make it snow during the spring, too?

    Hi,

Looks like they don't read their bibles very well or else believe them.

    James 4:7 (English Standard Version)

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Satan is a loser and so are his minions. He has lost already and his time is short.

1 Corinthians 15:57 (English Standard Version)

57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    All the best,

    Stephen

Funny thing, I can get along just fine without the Bible. I use it mostly to expose where the Washtowel Slaveholdery, which claims to abide by it, in fact does not (and sometimes to throw it right back in God's face). I haven't had any trouble with Satan.

rebel8.. where have you been all my life? sound like my kinda girl! lol

Satan, devils and demons... the greatest excuse ever for humanity's own inherent defects such as greed, pettiness, egotism etc etc...

As long as the 'devil made me do it!' we are not accountable, therefore pardon is granted... you are not to blame...

    ha!

Christians tend to give away their power. They give it to jesus, or a book, or somewhere outside themselves. By doing that, they lose focus on themselves and their being. Blaming their own problems on something outside themselves follows naturally. Pagans and mystical types and practices bring the power home, again. Atheists, of course, don't bother w any of this (crap;)).
