There was a report on cable that the initial effect 9/11 had
on church attendance seems gone. Things have drifted back to
normal.
Watchtower-wise, I see meeting attendance slowly drifting down
again. I'm sure various C.O.'s will try to enforce the Society's
dictum that bookstudies should only be 15 people. This is already
a burden - if you run 50% attendance, you try to conduct a study
with maybe 7 people - elders are complaining or quietly ignoring
this idea.
Publishers in the US in Sept were down from August - but higher
than normal for Sept. They'll need a lot more misery in the
world to brace up their fading enterprise.
