Got to say I went to this movie cause wife wanted to see it at big screen. (I was just going to wait till it came out on Disc)

I kinda went into it with kinda low expectations because I really haven't heard much about it.

Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Don't want to give too much away for those who maybe

going to see it but there is something in it for believers as well as atheist and agnostics.

When I saw the ending I couldn't shake the feeling that a JW or former JW mighta had a hand in it.

Some of the best special effects in a movie(seemingly believable) happen at the plane crash and the subway incident.

Keep your eyes on the people around both of these events. Don't blink or turn your head away when these two things

    occur.

Its hard to imagine that people didn't get hurt in real life filming those two events.

Anyhow will stop with that so I don't give to much away but the previews of the other movies coming up already got

me looking forward to X-Men Origins and the new Star Trek movie. Both of those looked good too from what I saw.

Hoping all of you are doing well and enjoying life.

    Regards,

Yeah... I just saw it Friday night (4-3-09) too, and that is exactly what I thought as we were leaving the theater. My wife, who did not know me in my JW days, was with me and I told her the same thing, explaining the similarity of the JW belief. Good movie! go watch it and then let me know what you think.

I wondered how it was. I will still wait until it comes to DVD.

I have a hard time believing any movie with Nicolas Cage could be bad. I love his acting.

I've read somewhere that there is a lot of Mormon imagery in this movie. Did you notice anything like that?

Rebel8 I have to agree that most of Nicolas Cages' movies I've really enjoyed. He has a style and flair all his on.

NeonMadMan not sure about the Mormon imagery in the movie. Nothing sticks out in my mind at the moment as

far as relating strictly to the Mormons in the film but I coulda missed something.
