The witlesses seem to think they have the monopoly on proselytizing. I would like them to visit a First Bible Baptist web site and click onto the links describing the missionaries they have. This is also true with every single religion that has any hope of becoming worldwide. The First Bible Baptist church has hope of having every single person on the planet believing in their religion. Trouble is, the Methodists also have this goal. As do the Presbyterians, the Lutherans, Mormons, Jehovah's Witlesses, Seventh Day Adventists--and the religion that came closest, the Catholic Church.
At the same time, you have Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists trying to claim the whole planet as theirs. Every single sect of these major religions has to preach to others, and in fact they try to get others into their doors. They also have missionaries (whether their mission is to fly planes into buildings or to start civil wars in Africa and Europe by bringing half the country into a foreign religion). And, like every other religion, doing this is a complete waste of one's whole lifetime--and usually results in either nothing, getting kicked out of the country, a civil war, or degradation of that country's whole lifestyle.
