I'm confused about the remnant numbers.

  Hi

  Am I correct in saying that the WT society still hold that the number of actual true anointed is declining whilst the number of partakers is increasing?

  If so, how do they explain that the true partakers should probably all be dead by now. Does anyone here know any of the anointed personally? In this neck of the woods they died out years ago.

  If I was to ring London Bethel for clarification what is the likely response and what would be a good question to ask?

  Any info/advice please?

  How about this:

  Tell them that you read in the 2004 Watchtower (January 1? January 15? Other? Don't recall) that the number of genuine anointed Memorial partakers is decreasing.

  Tell them that you have not seen a retraction of that statement in print anywhere, so apparently it still holds.

  Tell them that based on the last several Yearbook reports, the number of Memorial partakers is actually increasing.

  This then implies that there are a number of un-genuine anointed beginning to partake these days, i.e. "partaking unworthily".

  On what basis have they determined that the new partakers are doing so unworthily?

  Question 16. Regarding the anointed, for what are we grateful, and what can we confidently believe?

  I doubt that ringing BetHell on this subject will rattle any brain cells into life.

  Confused T-C? Maybe it's a Jedi mind trick that is the reason or maybe it's because, liars will figure, but figures don't lie. Yeah, I knew plenty of annointed 35 years ago and they were just as confused about the new light at each assembly as I was. Types, anti-types, etc, it's all just a bunch of mumbo jumbo meant to confuse the weak-minded.
