  I once heard a story about a farmer who owned an old shack
  he wanted torn down. He kept shooting at it until it
  finally fell down - it took a long time but eventually
  it met collapse.

  Take a brick away from the great Watchtower - then another-
  eventually it will fall. We are seeing rot and weakness
  seeping into the Society's corrupt structure. I can't
  predict what will bring it down but it could be an apostasy
  or set of defections at Bethel - or loss of some critical
  court cases - or a successful lawsuit - or whole branches
  quietly rebelling - or even a reform effort sponsored
  officially by the Society that miscalculates how deep
  their problems have become.

  It will come eventually - conditions are being set up
  by depressed publishers dragging themselves to meetings,
  elders giving up, kids leaving, bad publicity, loss of
  revenue and failure to defend doctrine.

  Keep chipping away and something will happen

  just like that farmer's shack

  The Watchtower will eventually be faced with a genuine crisis of gigantic proportions. With the onset of internet technology all doubting minds will have to be opened sooner or later, realizing that the Society is nothing more than an organization of frail humans, having originally taken a utopian direction for the good of all mankind at first, but having fallen into the inevitable trap of power, money and control. Yes, the internet will be there to take away the last stone of a "make-believe empire" in order for all to see the destruction of the false prophet called the WTBTS.
  Remember in the 50's hardly anyone had a television set, now virtually each household has one or more tv-sets in their home because that's a "normal" thing to have nowadays. Likewise and even more so with the internet where very few people had access to it not so long ago, yet they estimate that within the next 5 years or so, one third of the global population will use the internet as an important means of getting general information of all sorts. So you see, as metatron brought out, the chipping away is currently in full force and it's just a matter of time before they will be exposed for their deceit and hypocrisy....

  I'm reminded of Vietnam when I hear the Society's
  statistics. They counted bodies as an obsession. Eventually,
  the body count exceeded most of the population!

  In the same way, the Society's stats are misleading and
  phoney. It's things like this that convince me that sudden
  collapse is possible as the internet erodes the Society.

  Information, information will play a big role. The society is information based - the mags, the divine information channel - trust our quality information etc. Their information is so flawed that virtually each and every piece can be broken.

  Make sledgehammers. Everyone here should carefully write articles and pieces of writing that the others can objectively criticize. Articles that pass all careful scrutiny could then be compiled for the future internet viewing of the needful. Ex-jws should be doing it properly and en-masse.

  Who's in charge of this forum ? Start a new section called 'Articles of Correction' or something.
