My JW family member and I meet for lunch once in a while. (I've never been a JW) How can I find out if he's been baptized....without actually coming out and asking him?? Any ideas?

Why don't you just come out and ask?
What's going to happen?
Just ask in a way that they don't feel attacked or emberassed too much - i.e. keep your voice down if in public.

Ask a family member in a round about way. Say you heard he was getting baptized and would like to send a card, but aren't sure.

Well, because then he'll suggest that I should start studying with his guru too, and I don't want to get into that.

Good idea, but NO ONE in our family are JWS (only him)....so he'd know I hadn't heard it from anyone.
