During the late 60's /through the 70's there was some great stuff:
Brand X, Grover Washington, Norman Connors, and who can forget Dave Brubeck. Here is one of my Favorites by Norman Conors and Jeane Carne: It was called Dindi....pretty romantic stuff!

Close enough.... I really am, not that familiar with Jazz. This is a song by the Waterboys. Incidently, the guy singing this, looks an awful lot, like the lead singer of the Raspberrries.

Never thought to ask this in this forum but if there is any jazz fans of 40's and 50's big bands around I'm looking for a track called 'My Melancholy Baby' by The Kenny Baker Half Dozen/Dozen.
Looking for it for my dad,who heard it as part of a film score,had the 78rpm record and promptly lost it!!! I can't find it any where,so if perchance anyone has a copy or knows of one,would you be so kind as to PM me?
