What happens when someone whom they don't like is on JC?

We all know elders can't keep JC matters secret,is it possible that they make decisions that would make their wives happy and therefore maintaining unity in their families?

    Depends on the man.......

Depends on the gossip he has heard as gospel truth at home too.

I just find Elderetts so arrogant and annoying, with the attitude that says: "Tow the line or I'm gonna tell my man to DF you"!

Not true. Most elders are happy to act like they have a secret.

Thus, to answer this ridiculous question, elders wives (with the possible VERY rare exception) have zero influence on JC's.

I was an elders wife for 21 years and new nothing unless some stupid publisher told me. My husband never said a word. Now other elders, well I had one elder tell me a whole bunch of confidential stuff, but I know he never told his wife. Go figure. But NO WAY did I have any say in JC's,

No, that is not true.......elders just love being one of the 'boys club and having important matters that they cannot discuss. It is like somebody doing important work that they may not talk about at home.

I would bet that the sisters bush telegraph is more likely responsible for leaks

I know that everyone loves elder bashing and it's true that a lot of them are pricks. However there are a lot of them who truly believe this is the truth and that they are doing the right thing. Many who don't tell secrets. Many who do everything in their power to try to keep families together and try to do what they think the bible says.

At some point you have to differentiate the person from the belief. I hate JW beliefs, I also hate baptist and catholic beliefs! Think about this, you trash talk these men over and over in thread after thread and if one of them says "I don't want to be an elder anymore.' Then joins this site suddenly they are great people?

Isn't it possible they were great people before and they just had bad beliefs?
